Kettleland approves and sends $10,000 to support the economic rebuilding of families linked to kettlebell sport

An action aimed at supporting vulnerable families, rebuilding economic activity, and reinforcing Kettleland's commitment to the international kettlebell sport community after the recent disaster in Venezuela.

This decision stems from a simple conviction: sport does not end on the competition platform. The violent seismic double header of magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5 that shook northern Venezuela on June 24 has left more than 1,700 fatalities, thousands injured, and material losses exceeding 6.7 billion dollars. Behind these figures are athletes, coaches, and clubs whose operational realities and family economies have been suspended under the rubble, especially in critical areas such as La Guaira and northern Caracas.

The objective of this contribution is not only to offer timely humanitarian aid but also to mitigate the impact of a reconstruction process projected as the country's main structural challenge for the coming year. Damage to key infrastructure, power grids, and training centers will force the local sports community to reinvent itself from scratch in a highly complex logistical environment.

The aid will focus on two main areas: support for directly vulnerable families and the provision of minimum resources to reactivate economic and sports activity. Recovering work tools, mobility, and basic training conditions will be essential for local clubs not to disappear during the economic stabilization phase.

For Kettleland, this distinction is important. Helping does not just mean alleviating an emergency. It also means injecting strategic seed capital so that the sport's structure maintains its autonomy, dignity, and future capacity in the region.

Additionally, Kettleland has decided to redirect half of KettlePet's economic structure, an initiative conceived to support abandoned animals, towards two lines of aid directly related to this emergency in the Caracas-La Guaira axis.

On the one hand, these resources will be allocated to support affected families who have pets in their care, preventing the economic crisis from forcing the separation or abandonment of the animals that are part of their homes.

On the other hand, local foundations and organizations that are managing the care of animals in absolute unprotected situations due to the collapse of homes, forced displacement, and human losses recorded after the earthquake will be directly financed.

In a crisis of this magnitude, animals suffer the direct impact of food shortages and loss of shelter. Protecting those who rescue and care for them on the ground is a logical extension of our corporate responsibility.
